Dr. Ganesh N. Devy, Aide et Action International-South Asia Board

An activist
for the rights of Adivasis and nomadic and denotified tribes of India, Dr. Devy
is the founder trustee of the National Adivasi Academy. He is the recipient of the
Prince Clause Award from the Government of the Netherlands for his innovative thinking
on the rights of indigenous communities.
Dr. Kedar B. Mathema, Aide et Action International-South Asia Board Member
Dr. Mathema is the former vice chancellor of
Tribhuvan University and former ambassador of Nepal to Japan, South Korea, New
Zealand and Australia. He is one of the leading thinkers of Nepal and a
respected critic of various development and democracy efforts in the country.
Dr. Rajiva Wijesinha, Aide et Action International-South Asia Board Member
Dr.
Wijesinha is the former secretary general of the Peace Secretariat of Sri
Lanka. A former professor of English from Sabaragamua University of Sri Lanka,
Dr. Wijesinha is currently a nominated member of Parliament in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Y.R.K. Reddy, Aide et Action International-South Asia Board Member
The
founder of the Centre for Corporate Governance and a former professor at the
National Institute of Public Administration, Dr. Reddy has worked in the area
of corporate governance and NGO and INGO governance for many years. He has consulted
for the World Bank, UN agencies and other international institutions.
Mitha
Lal Mehta, Aide et Action International-South Asia Board Member
The
former chief secretary of the government of Rajasthan, Mr. Mehta is known for
his contribution to the education and development sector. His efforts made many
government programmes more accessible through changes in their designs and on
the policy level.
