Together let's run for education

Aide et Action India is participating in the Bangalore 10k marathon on May 27, 2012 to support the education of children of marginalised communities in India, especially the girl children and the children of migrant labourers.

Through this marathon it aims to raise resources to support the education of over 2000 children who are deprived of basic education and schooling.

Here are ways how you can support this event:

1. Make a contribution of Rs 500 for the education of a child for a year
2. Sponsor the participation fees of a youth from our livelihood education project- iLEAD Bangalore. Participation fee is Rs. 400 per youth.

World 10K Bangalore

The World 10K Bangalore is an annual 10 KM road race which takes place in Bangalore, India. The race has been accorded the IAAF Gold Label Road Race status, the highest rating for road races from the IAAF. The run starts and ends at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. The event is organised by Procam International, who also organises Mumbai Marathon and Delhi Half Marathon.
